Best Home Care is a service of Prima Vita Clinics LLC (“we”, “us”), a home healthcare provider licensed by the Dubai Health Authority under DHA Licence No. 5821241 and holding Dubai Trade Licence No. 1238323. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do. It covers this website and the care services we deliver. Questions or requests: clinic@primavitadubai.com.
We handle personal data under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data; Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 on the use of Information and Communication Technology in Health Fields, which governs health data specifically and is stricter than general data protection law; Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection; and Dubai Health Authority regulations and professional confidentiality obligations. Where these differ, we apply the stricter requirement.
When you contact us through this website, WhatsApp or by phone: your name, phone number, email address, the area you live in, and whatever you choose to write in a message or tell us on a call.
Please do not include detailed medical information in a website form or a WhatsApp message. Tell us that you need care and we will contact you through a secure channel to take clinical details properly.
When you become a client: identification details, Emirates ID where required for licensing or insurance, address and access details, billing information, emergency contacts, and details of the person who will receive care where that is not you.
Health data. Where we provide care we collect clinical information: medical history, diagnoses, medications, allergies, care plans, clinical observations, nursing notes, treatment records, and correspondence with your treating physician. This is the most sensitive data we hold and it is handled under Federal Law No. 2 of 2019.
Automatically from this website: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring source, through cookies and similar technologies. See section 8.
We do not knowingly collect data from children directly. Where we provide care to a minor, we deal with the parent or legal guardian.
We use your data to respond to your enquiry; to assess suitability and prepare a care plan; to deliver care and keep clinical records; to schedule and staff visits and maintain continuity of care; to invoice, take payment and process insurance claims; for clinical governance, incident review, quality and audit; and to respond to a regulator, authority or court where required. We send service updates and marketing only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use health data for marketing. We do not use health data for any non-health purpose without your written consent, except where Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 specifically allows it — for example a request from a competent judicial body or health authority, verification of benefits by a health funder, protection of public health, or anonymised research.
We share your data with our clinical and care staff, limited to those involved in your care; with your treating physician or hospital where clinically necessary and with your knowledge; with insurers and funders where you are claiming or they are paying; with regulators, including the Dubai Health Authority, where required; with service providers who help us operate — IT, hosting, communications and accounting — under confidentiality obligations and only as far as needed; and with courts and authorities where legally required.
Our staff and contractors are bound by professional confidentiality obligations that survive the end of their engagement.
Under Article 13 of Federal Law No. 2 of 2019, health data relating to health services provided in the UAE may not be stored, processed, generated or transferred outside the United Arab Emirates except as that law permits and with the approval of the competent authority.
We do not transfer your health data outside the United Arab Emirates other than as that law permits. Where a service provider outside the UAE processes data on our behalf — for example website analytics or email delivery — that is limited strictly to non-health information.
Health records: a minimum of 25 years from the date of the last procedure or episode of care, as required by Article 20 of Federal Law No. 2 of 2019. This is a legal obligation we cannot shorten at your request.
Financial and billing records: as required by UAE tax and commercial law, normally five years. Enquiries that do not become care: twelve months, then deleted. Marketing consents: until you withdraw, after which we keep a suppression record so that we do not contact you again.
Subject to the retention obligations above, you may ask us to give you access to the personal data we hold about you; correct anything inaccurate or incomplete; delete data where we have no legal or clinical obligation to keep it; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw your consent to marketing at any time; or give you a copy of the data you provided to us, in a usable format.
Send requests to clinic@primavitadubai.com. We respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity, particularly for health data. Where you request access to clinical records on behalf of someone else, we will ask for proof of authority.
We cannot delete clinical records inside the 25-year retention period, even on request. That is a statutory obligation, not a choice we are making.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the UAE Data Office, and for anything clinical, to the Dubai Health Authority.
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember preferences and understand how it is used, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for aggregate usage statistics. These tools measure website behaviour only, and are not connected to any form field that captures health information.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser. Essential cookies are required for the site to function and disabling them may affect it.
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of health data, including access control on a need-to-know basis, staff confidentiality obligations and training, encryption in transit, and restricted access to clinical systems.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
If you contact us by WhatsApp or a similar service, your message travels through that provider’s infrastructure, which we do not control and which may sit outside the UAE. Please use it only to arrange contact, not to send medical details. We will move the conversation to a secure channel before taking clinical information.
We may update this policy. The current version is always published here with its date. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified to you directly.
